what is one way to get invited to a locked tournament?
Chat
For a locked tournament you have to be invited. You will be given a password to access said tournament.

If you're opponent is taking too long, you can send a friendly reminder through the game chat option. If you're ahead you can always save the score and change it as the game progresses.
